In the 21st century, art has become an important economic asset, as valuable, if not more valuable, than many. These days, art is increasingly recognized as a financially stable commodity that can be used all around the world. But what exactly is art and how can we determine its real value?
With these questions in mind, we hope to create exhibitions where the participants can exchange artwork with something beyond currency. This is the first time in Shanghai it will be free and open to all. Now, let’s see what the artists and the visitors make of it!
Art Exchange Rules
1.View all the artworks and select your favorite one.
↓
2.After you’ve decided which is your favorite artwork, fill out the necessary information on the voting form and put it into voting box.
◇Voting form “1. Artwork number 2. Your Name 3. Contact info 4. “Something” you want to exchange for the artwork.
↓
3. Artists browse through the voting forms and select one offer of exchange that appeals to them.
◇Shell Economics Committee or the artists will contact those individuals whose offers were accepted by the artists.
↓
4. The results of the exchange will be announced on November 8th at 7pm on the official website and Sina Weibo.
