“FINE ART ASIA 2011″ is recognized as Asia’s leading annual fine art and antiques fair. One of the highlight programs of this year’s fair will be Project Discovery, organized and sponsored by 3812. Project Discovery aims to serve as a platform for these artists to showcase their cutting-edge, inspiring and highly collectible works, while providing collectors and visitors with a chance to explore the infinite possibilities of contemporary art.

In the Project Discovery, some selected galleries around Asia was invited to present solo exhibitions of their represented artists at the fair. Office339 will present the selected works of young emerging Japanese artist Hiroshi Takeda.

Hiroshi Takeda has searched for his own identity through a wide range of approaches such as abstract paintings, installation, and live performance. He employs “the existence of a painting” as the motif of his painting works. In his installation, he has curated other artists’ exhibitions, and played collaborative performance with other film artists and musicians to explore the possibility of creation.
