Biography
Born in Sydney, 1972.
Lives and works in Shanghai.
Since 1995, Australian born photographer Rodney Evans has applied his distinctive style to advertising and fashion photography. He began his career in New York and later Sydney working as a professional freelance photographer for major commercial publications and advertisers.
In 2005, Evans’ work was included in a Tourism Australia Exhibition that toured throughout Asia, including Beijing and Shanghai. While visiting the exhibition his interest in China grew and he quickly found himself in Shanghai engaged in artistic projects alongside his commercial assignments.
Evans is now living and working in Shanghai as a freelance producer for professional advertising, while concentrating on his own personal projects.
