冈部昌生是全世界最令人瞩目的日本艺术家之一。他的拓摹法作品把焦点对准于广岛被炸的铁路站、巴黎犹太人街事件等那些深深铭刻在人们记忆中的社会性、历史性的事实。他作为日本代表出展了2007年第52届威尼斯双年展。
